Grosset Polish Hill Riesling
£35.95
Jeffrey Grosset is widely hailed as the king of Riesling in Australia; his attention to detail (like most Riesling producers/nerds) in the vineyards and in the winery is legendary. The wines he creates are always beautiful expressions of his vineyards. The Polish Hill is often considered his best wine; taught and mineral with layers of complexity that unfurl with time. An Australian icon that improve for many years to come.
Kekerengu Coast Sauvignon Blanc, Astrolabe, Marlborough, NZ
£22.95
Simon Waghorn is one of New Zealand's most respected winemakers. He is a real perfectionist and his Sauvignons have amazing purity and depth of flavour. The Kekerengu Coast is my favourite, showing a lovely crunchy, mineral texture alongside the bright, zingy fruit and a really long finish. Classic Marlborough Sauvignon of the highest order.
Sauvignon Blanc, Framingham
£18.95
Framingham has been named winery of the year by The Real Review (New Zealand’s top wine publication) for the last two years. They make stunning wines! This Sauvignon is a little bit different to most, with the wine seeing extra skin contact and some ageing in old barrels; this gives the wine a lovely texture and a savoury edge alongside those classic Sauvignon flavours. A very ‘food-friendly’ version of Kiwi Savvy Blanc!
Classic Riesling, Framingham
£18.95
Framingham are widely regarded a the top producer of Riesling in New Zealand. They make several different styles from very dry to very sweet. This ‘Classic’ Riesling is very much inspired by the great wines of the Mosel; a wine with a touch of sweetness but with crisp acidity and juicy citrus flavours perfectly balanced. This is sooo drinkable and refreshing and perfect with Thai food or any salads (especially on a sunny day in the garden…). Organic

Three Lions Chardonnay, Plantagenet

Gavi ‘La Fornace’, Cinzia Bergaglio
£14.95
This is one of our favourite wines; it's Gavi that isn't overpriced!
Bergaglio is situated in Tassarolo, in the heart of the Gavi zone (it could be called Gavi di Gavi...), in the south of Piemonte heading towards Liguria. Cortese is the grape here, and this version has all the herb-scented freshness and juicy, citrus fruit you could hope for. Not a complicated wine, or one that should be revered and sipped in silence; it should be served with great food and drunk heartily with a big grin on your face!
The perfect wine to have with fennel-stuffed seabass doused with really good olive oil. Yum..
Reserve de Gassac Blanc, Mas de Daumas Gassac
£13.95
This is a cracking organic wine! Made by the Guibert family at the iconic Mas de Daumas Gassac in the Languedoc, this is exceptional value for money. An unoaked, aromatic blend comprising of Viognier, Chardonnay, Terret and Muscat, this is creamy and peachy with a crisp, fresh finish. Perfect with seabass with fennel or other herby fish dishes. Organic.
