Elegance Rose, Capdevieille & Ginter
£15.95
The grapes for this rosé are sourced from vineyards situated in the commune of La Londe in a valley surrounded
by the Massif des Maures on sun-drenched slopes and a landscape of rocks of schists with veins of quartz. In the summer the
location of the valley near the sea allows cooling breezes which leads to a slower and more progressive maturation of the
grapes, giving the wines fine aromatic structure.
Classic (organic) Provence Rose at a great price.

Harrow & Hope Brut Rose, Bucks, England
£38.95
From Marlow, Henry & Kate Laithwaite make some stunning sparkling wines. We love their wine; the quality is amazing, the packaging is beautiful, it makes the perfect gift and is a local business doing a world class job!In the words of Henry...'This release signifies the future make up of this wine after years of trialing various blends. 30% Chardonnay, 20% Pinot Meunier, 50% Pinot Noir (7% Red) and 30% barrel fermentation is the formula we feel brings the best out of this wine. The aim is to still demonstrate Pinot vintage expression with a key component being the 7% red wine addition. The Chardonnay is there to balance everything out and give the wine a finesse and seamless structure that makes it a sumptuous drinking experience.'
Rose of Virginia, Charles Melton
£33.00
Grenache/Shiraz/CabernetSince 1984, Charlie has produced premium Barossa red wines which have wonderful balance and freshness, with the use of French oak giving them a supple texture and poise. The grapes are dry grown, chemical free and harvested from the winery's own vineyards in Tanunda and Lyndoch. The estate vineyards now comprise 32 hectares, the oldest having been planted in 1947, with the balance planted from the late 1960s onwards.Named after Charlie’s wife, the ‘Rose of Virginia’ is a truly unique style of rosé. Vibrant cerise in colour, this is full-bodied yet crisp, with a fragrant bouquet of Turkish Delight, seasoned with pepper and spice.I have yet to find a better BBQ wine! This has all the flavour of a red but served cold, it's truly refreshing. On a hot day, with steaks, lamb chops and sausages on the grill this is absolutely perfect.
Bandol Rose, Domaine de Suffrene
£21.95
At Domaine La Suffrene, Cedric Gravier makes exceptional wines and is fast becoming one of the stars of the region. This rose is a bend of Mourvedre, Grenache, Cinsault and Carignan. Slightly richer and fuller in style to Rose from the Cotes de Provence further inland, this really comes alive with food. Imagine garlicky prawns from the grill, grilled tuna with tomatoes and olive oil...imagine you're on the Cote d'Azur, sitting in a restaurant overlooking the Mediteranean with Bouillabaisse!
Canaiuolo Rosato, Montenidoli
£21.95
Montenidoli is owned by Elisabetta Fagioli, one of the legends of Italian wine. She is now in her late seventies but her passion and energy is still a true force of nature.
Overlooking the famous medieval towers of San Giminano, the vineyards have one of the wine world's best views! These vineyards are organically grown; for fifty years no herbicide, insecticides or any other chemicals have been used. This is a microclimate brimming with life. The vineyards are aglow with fireflies by night and dancing with ladybugs by day. This energy, and that of Elisabetta, is almost palpable in the wines; these are wines of real beauty.
The grape is Canaiuolo (often blended with Sangiovese in Tuscany), and this wine is a beautiful pale salmon colour. Along the same lines as the best from Provence but with a certain Italian twist; a little bit more depth, texture and length. It really comes alive with shellfish.
‘Chiu’ Rosato, Il Civettaio
£16.95
Il Civettaio is a beautiful organic farm set in the wild countryside of the Maremma region of Tuscany. Owner Gregorio does everything by hand and makes wines that really express his passion and the land from which they come. Tiny production from a lovingly tended estate.
This Rose, named after the noise the little owls make around the vineyards, is pale and elegant but with more character than many Provence wines, this stands up to stronger flavoured foods. If you were to grill some big juicy prawns that were marinated in garlic, chilli and olive oil (also from Civettaio!?), then you would pretty much be in heaven!
Chiaretto (Rosato), Monte del Fra
£15.95
Monte del Fra is a great family winery based just south of Lake Garda in the Veneto region, north-east Italy. Run by the Bonomo family since 1958 and now in the hands of brothers Eligio and Claudio, it is one of the most progressive and quality-minded producers in the area.
This Chiaretto (the name given to Rose/Rosato in the area) is the quintessential summer wine and one of our most popular pinks!
The same blend of grapes as Monte del Fra's red Bardolino (Corvina, Rondinella & Molinara) but with skin contact for only 24 hours; this gives the wine it's beautiful pale salmon pink colour.
Like a dry Provence Rose but a bit juicier, a bit easier to drink, and perhaps a bit more joyful! This is just perfect for sitting in the garden; it's so fresh and drinkable and perfect for light summer food.
A must-have wine!
