Elegance Rose, Capdevieille & Ginter
£15.95
The grapes for this rosé are sourced from vineyards situated in the commune of La Londe in a valley surrounded
by the Massif des Maures on sun-drenched slopes and a landscape of rocks of schists with veins of quartz. In the summer the
location of the valley near the sea allows cooling breezes which leads to a slower and more progressive maturation of the
grapes, giving the wines fine aromatic structure.
Classic (organic) Provence Rose at a great price.

‘Lo Vielh’ Old Vine Carignan, Clos de Gravillas
£26.95
Clos de Gravillas is an organic estate based in the tiny hamlet of St Jean de Minervois, deepin the Languedoc countryside. Here, John and Nicole Bojanowski make some of the region's most interesting wines. The Carignan vines that make this wine are from a high gravelly vineyard and are over 100 years old. This gives the wine real character, as if the vines have soaked up the minerals of the earth and the flavours of the surrounding Garrigue.
This is a dark, powerful wine that is a perfect match for slow roasted, herby meats. Unique and beautiful, this is Southern French wine at it's best.
Saint-Veran ‘Tradition’, Domaine des Deux Roches
£23.95
This domaine is based in the village of Davayé, in the Mâconnais, and is jointly owned by Jean-Luc Terrier and Christian Collovray. Their 50 hectares of vineyards largely lie between the twin escarpments of Solutré and Vergisson and showcase the diverse terroirs of this region. The wines of Deux Roches are known for their drinkability and offer great value for money; the domaine is particularly known for its excellent Saint-Véran.
The cuvée Tradition emits a floral scent reminiscent of honeysuckle and acacia flowers. Pear, green apple, peach and apricot, are all well-integrated on the palate and reinforced by creamy notes, and a long floral finish.
Versatile with food but particularly good with roast chicken.

Jean-Charles Boisset was born into a winemaking family in Burgundy and now makes wine all over the World.

A great value alternative to Champagne, showing
Domaine Mapliers Rose ‘Preferences’
£19.95
A blend of Grenache and Cinsault, this wine delivers a simple yet precise bouquet of fresh raspberries and vine peach. Superbly refreshing and delicate, the palate is charming and ethereal. Fermented in stainless steel from a direct and light pressing, a classic Provencal style that everybody will enjoy… day and night.
Delicious! Sun's out, salads in the garden, you know what to do...
‘La Gloire de mon Pere’ Bergerac Rouge, Chateau Tours des Gendres
£19.95
Bergerac is often overlooked in favour of it's more famous cousin Bordeaux but there is great wine being made there, and you pay a fraction of the price!
Chateau Tour des Gendres is one of the best producers, making wines of real class.
Owner and winemaker Luc de Contoi is a true Vinarchiste, looking for purity and intensity, the maximum expression of the potential of the grapes. In the vineyard the soil is nourished with seaweed and silica treatments to encourage microbial activity.
This vigneron even riddles the grapes on the vine, giving them a quarter turn (at least that’s what he tells us – difficult
to know when you’ve been hoaxed by Luc).
A great wine for roast beef of lamb and perfect with strong hard cheeses; Montgomery Cheddar springs to mind..
Cremant de Loire, Chateau des Cosse NV

Chiaretto (Rosato), Monte del Fra
£15.95
Monte del Fra is a great family winery based just south of Lake Garda in the Veneto region, north-east Italy. Run by the Bonomo family since 1958 and now in the hands of brothers Eligio and Claudio, it is one of the most progressive and quality-minded producers in the area.
This Chiaretto (the name given to Rose/Rosato in the area) is the quintessential summer wine and one of our most popular pinks!
The same blend of grapes as Monte del Fra's red Bardolino (Corvina, Rondinella & Molinara) but with skin contact for only 24 hours; this gives the wine it's beautiful pale salmon pink colour.
Like a dry Provence Rose but a bit juicier, a bit easier to drink, and perhaps a bit more joyful! This is just perfect for sitting in the garden; it's so fresh and drinkable and perfect for light summer food.
A must-have wine!
Cotes de Gascogne, Duffour Pere & Fils,
£11.95
This family producer based in central Gascony (South-West France), is considered one of the best in the area. Their wines have a depth of flavour which is often lacking here; their philosophy is firmly quality over quantity! This is a blend of Colombard, Gros Manseng, Ugni Blanc & Sauvignon Blanc (quite a mouthful!); It’s clean, fresh and modern in style, aromatic with a long, dry finish. Very quaffable and great value.
