Those of us of a certain age may recall the band Yello, one of whose members was the Swiss musician and conceptual artist Dieter Meier, the very same Dieter Meier who’s somewhat bonkers at times creativity included some years ago establishing 100% organic wine production in Agrelo, in the heart of Mendoza’s original wine lands.
Most people in the trade believe that Argentina’s best wines are blends, and this shows the point well. This is Bordeaux with a twist; rich dark fruit flavours and a long, smooth finish. A complex and interesting wine!
Great with roast beef or lamb, steaks and BBQ.

Highmoor whole cheese
A semi-soft, washed rind cheese with brothy and bacony notes from the rind made at the Nettlebed Creamery near Henley by Rose Grimmond. Rose's family are dairy farmers and the family farm, located 1 mile down the road, provides all the beautiful organic cows' milk used to make the Nettledbed cheeses. Shape, taste and texture all make Highmoor an interesting addition to any cheese board and given the closeness of the cow to creamery to No2 this is also a great cheese to eat to reduce your food miles and support two local businesses.
