Daytime Bookings
We are open from 9am Tuesday to Saturday and 10am on Sunday’s. We offer freshly prepared sandwiches (including the most amazing toasties!), British artisan cheese and charcuterie plates, sausage rolls, scotch eggs, pork pies, smoked salmon, a great selection of sweet treats and a whole lot more.
Please advise of any dietary requirement at the time of booking
We also have The Tasting Room if you require a private space for meetings or events – it is free to hire for local businesses during the day (so long as you order your food and drinks from us). Please call 01296585022 for more information on this

Tasting Room Bookings
Our Tasting Room is available for evening Wine and Cheese Tastings starting at £50 per person.
It is located behind the shop in a seperate building, so your experience will be private and seperate from other customers.
The room can seat up to 10 guests, has bluetooth speakers so you can choose your own music plus wi-fi and screen if needed.
The Tasting Room can also be booked during the daytime at no cost for businesses located within a 10-mile radius, if food and beverages are purchased (daytime bookings only).

Enjoy a fabulous platter of Artisan British Cheese & Charcuterie paired expertly with 4 beautiful wines (100ml pours). We will tell you about the wine and cheesemakers and why certain styles of wines pair so well with certain cheeses - a fun & delicious treat!

Coravin Wine & Cheese Flight Tasting - £57pp
Just like the tasting above but here we really step up the wine! The Coravin system allows us to pour the finest wine
by the glass without removing the cork.
Here we will go into more detail on the wines used, really showing you why some wines are more highly regarded than others - with our guidance you get a snapshot in to the world of fine wines

Your Chiltern Cheese Journey in conjunction with Chilterns Discovery Weekend
Embark on a delicious Cheese Discovery Day at No2 Pound Street and let our Head Cheesemonger aka The Bucks Cheese Guy lead you on a relaxed, flavour‑packed voyage of discovery. You’ll taste your way through a carefully curated line‑up of exceptional artisanal British cheeses, matched with wine, cider or local beer* to really make them shine, while you uncover the cheesemaking stories, history and culture behind what’s on your plate to bring every bite to life. With plenty of fun, chat and tasting along the way, choose from one of three sessions on Sunday 12th July and dive into a cheese adventure that’s as enjoyable as it is fascinating.
Session Times 11am, 1pm and 3pm £25pp (A maximum of 10 per session) *non-alcoholic options available - please add a note to your reservation.

Join us for an evening of cheese tasting and learning. Our monthly club features artisan cheesemakers who prioritise sustainable and ethical practices. Meet the makers, learn about the cheesemaking process, and taste some of the finest British and Irish cheeses. The event starts at 6pm, there is a superb selection of carefully paired drinks that can be bought alongside the cheese.

Discover how cheese is made, why it tastes the way it does, and how to taste and present it professionally. The course covers the key modules needed for your Level 1 Associate certification, including cheesemaking, maturation, tasting and presentation.
