Serbal Cabernet Franc, Bodega Atamisque
£13.95
Bodega Atamisque is located in the district of San José in Tupungato, Uco Valley, and this stunning winery is the first you will see on the famous ‘Ruta del Vino’, Route 86. Atamisque also encompasses a golf course, a very nice restaurant, delightful guest accommodation and a trout farm! But who cares about all that when the wines are this good.
The Serbal wines from Atamisque are completely unoaked, made to show off the purity of the fruit from their own vineyards. This Cabernet Franc is one of Argentina’s best examples; medium-bodied and full of juicy red fruits and a slight savoury edge. Delicious.
A great wine for fillet steak or roast pork chops.

Rochebouet ‘Cave Extreme’ Extra Brut Rose NV
French born Jean-Edouard de Rochebouët is a man who knows a thing or two about sparkling wine; he helped pioneer 'méthode champenoise' wines from Argentina in the early days of Domaine Chandon in Mendoza. What's not to love about this? Deliciously fruity and finely balanced with superb brioche and shortbread notes on the nose due to its spending 12 months on the lees in bottle, very pale pink in colour with tiny bubbles.

This is a great example from Alexandre Relvas Jr and his team at Casa Relvas. It is rich and juicy blend with a long smooth finish, that tastes much more expensive than it is. Perfect for BBQ's and a really versatile wine to have on hand, complementing pizza, meaty pasta, pork chops...
