Salice Salentino Riserva, Cantele
£14.95
Cantele, located in Puglia in the ‘heel’ of Italy are known for producing some of the country’s best value wines and this is perhaps the best value of all. The grape variety is Negroamaro and the wine is rich, full-bodied with lots of dark, brambly fruit flavours and a long, lingering finish. It tastes a lot more expensive than it is!
A great wine for roast lamb with lots of rosemary and garlic.
